Since 2007, FOG management has been dictated by City, County and State ordinance(s). Fines and penalties for non-compliance can be stiff.
The State of Connecticut, for example, enacted a statewide program to require and standardize the routine removal of FOG. The "No Registration - No Fee" General Permit is ultimately enforced and overseen by the DEP.
Halstead & Associates stocks IGRD and J.R. Smith automatic grease traps that comply with these State and Municipal ordinances. Please call us to determine which product best suits your needs.
Regulatory Requirements can be found on the DEP (Department of Environmental Protection's) web site for your State.
